Draper Ltd Fire and Security have recently won the contract to Install a New EMS Fire Detection System at The Windermere Business Centre, which is under going a complete Re-Refurbishment on the Ground and 1st Floors, has been designed to offer prospective clients of any size and maturity, the latest air conditioned and modern surroundings in which to conduct business.
When Harold Preston the present owner bought the redundant Cake Works factory building in 1992, it had been empty for three years. He brought the place back to life, establishing the business centre in 1993.
The building has been serving local businesses since 1887, and now it is changing again. Windermere Business Centre is evolving into Windermere Works – a modern business centre that retains all the charm of the original building and provides everything your business needs to thrive.
Convenience is key for busy entrepreneurs. At Windermere Business Centre you can enjoy ample parking and access to the building whenever you need it. The reception desk is staffed between 8.30am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, meaning you and your clients will be greeted with a smile. We receive your deliveries and telephone enquiries, but you’ll also have your own private line. You’ll have access to printers, scanners and faxes.
Draper Ltd Fire and Security have installed an EMS Wireless Fire Cell Alarm System throughout the building, after undertaking a pre installation radio signal survey to ensure that each detector location meets the required signal strength to comply with the manufacturers standards of compliance. The Fire System is designed to meet British Standards 5839-1 2013 and has been completed in sympathy with the ongoing refurbishment works.
In 2017 EMS is celebrating 50 years of innovation led by our Chairman, founder & owner Doug Lawrence.
